The second ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State County Classic basketball game will take place Tuesday, Jan. 30, as the Salem Quakers host the East Liverpool Potters for a matchup on the hardwood. ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State’s Columbiana County campuses will welcome fans from both ends of the county for an exciting match-up, with activities throughout the game. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m.
Cheerleaders will toss out t-shirts throughout the game; there will be a drawing for a ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State swag basket; and the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State mascot, Flash, will lead fans in a Flash Dance at half time.
At the end of the game, a traveling plaque will be presented to the winning team by Dean Dr. David Dees.
The ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State County Classic represents the strong foundation of learning in East Liverpool and Salem, each a home to the university’s Columbiana County campuses.
