Furtado has served on numerous boards of trustees in Knoxville, Tennessee. Currently, she serves on the boards of the Cleveland International Film Festival and Hillel at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ. Furtado is married to ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State’s 13th President, Todd Diacon, and the couple have a son.
