ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State Celebrates 2015 Homecoming With Parade, Events and Football Game Win

This year's Homecoming was a fun-filled  that included the Bowman Cup 5K Race, Homecoming Parade and . This year’s homecoming featured ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State alumnus and Super Bowl champion as the Parade Grand Marshal.

Family and friends gathered before the football game at the new Tailgate Party at Dix Stadium. A great event for any Golden Flash, the gathering featured a food truck, face painting area, games and a chance to win prizes.

Other highlights of the day included open houses at the May 4 Visitors Center; new Center for the Visual Arts; the Student Recreation and Wellness Center; College of Education, Health and Human Services; College of Nursing; and tours of downtown aboard Lolly the Trolley, a Flash Photo Zone and a faculty lecture on the “Flapper Fashions of the 1920s.â€

In the newly released rankings, ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State is once again the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio, and with its impressive national ranking of No. 129, the university continues to be recognized among the Top Public Schools in the nation.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State Board of Trustees Welcomes Class of 2029, Congratulates University for Strong Enrollment

The ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Board of Trustees welcomed the Class of 2029 during its regular quarterly meeting held Sept. 17 in the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Student Center. The Board congratulated the university administration for this year’s strong enrollment.  

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State Board of Trustees Approves Establishing Aeronautics and Engineering Schools

The ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Board of Trustees approved the establishment of two new schools – the School of Aeronautics and the School of Engineering – within the College of Aeronautics and Engineering during the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held June 25, 2025, on the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Campus.
