Many people take their work home, but few turn work into their home. Christopher Dum, Ph.D., assistant sociology professor from ������Ƶ’s College of Arts and Sciences, did just that. For a year, Dum moved into a residential motel to better understand the dangerous living conditions and vulnerable residents who have nowhere else to go. May 4, 1970, was a watershed moment for the country and especially the ������Ƶ family. We lost four students that day while nine others were wounded and countless others were changed forever.  This abhorrent post is in poor taste and trivializes a loss of life that still pains the ������Ƶ State community today. The ������Ƶ Fashion School and Museum will host a lecture by the ALLELES Design Studio team in connection with the museum’s current exhibition “(dis)ABLED BEAUTY: The Evolution of Beauty, Disability and Ability.” The lecture, with remarks by ALLELES Art Director McCauley Wanner and Technology Director Ryan Palibroda, will take place on Friday, February 17, at 3 p.m. in the museum’s Murphy Auditorium.
