Each year, the College of the Arts and Sciences recognizes distinguished students, faculty, and advisors for outstanding contributions to ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ and the College of Arts and Sciences.
David Smeltzer and Oscar Rocha successfully lead a faculty lead study abroad experience in Costa Rica. This course included BSCI and JMC students who visited several locations in Costa Rica, including a dry forest, rainforest, cloud forest, and a coastal region. BSCI students conducted research projects in small teams while JMC students worked on videography or photography projects. This course is offered over winter break every other year.
