Associate professor David E. Silva's summer project exemplifies EMAT's commitment to academic innovation in the tech sphere and pairing it with practical industry applications, providing students with real-world, hands-on experience in emerging technologies. 

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ recently welcomed home a living legacy of its past when Ellen Engleman Conners, former chair of the National Transportation Safety Board and great-granddaughter of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State’s third president, visited campus for the first time.

Produced entirely by digital media production undergraduates in the School of Media and Journalism, what could have been a chaotic, high-profile evening was business as usual. 

A team of four students from the School of Emerging Media and Technology in the Interdisciplinary Projects course pioneered the use of Depthkit 3D video at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State and created an engaging dance video in collaboration with the School of Theatre and Dance and Design Innovation.
