
Narmin Nasibli
Biography
Narmin Nasibli received her Ph.D. in Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her research interests include sustainable fashion consumption, digital nudging, and the role of immersive technologies in shaping consumer choices. Her work explores how virtual environments influence consumer decision-making and promote sustainable consumption.
Dr. Nasibli holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from ADA University in Azerbaijan and a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Lund University in Sweden. In addition to her academic background, she has industry experience in market strategy and research.
Dr. Nasibli has presented her research at conferences such as the American Marketing Association (AMA), the International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA), and the American Collegiate Retailing Association (ACRA). Her contributions have been recognized through awards and grants, including a best graduate paper award at American Marketing Association/American Collegiate Retailing Association ACRA Conference and a dissertation grant from the UNCG Network for the Cultural Studies of Videogaming.
