The 17th annual ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Heritage Festival will take place on Saturday, July 7, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. in downtown ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ. ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ 130 vendors and businesses will participate in the festival with about 25,000 visitors expected.
The festival will feature the first ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Heritage Festival Car Show, which will take place on College Street. The , which benefits the United Way of Portage County, will take place from 7 p.m. beginning at Dix Stadium, and fireworks in downtown ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ begin at 10 p.m.
Crafters and food vendors will line Main, North and South Water and Erie streets, and three stages will be set up throughout downtown to provide all-day entertainment. There will be activities for all ages.
The festival is organized by the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Area Chamber of Commerce and ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ United Service Organizations, which is composed of the city of ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ, the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Licensed Beverage Association, ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Jaycees, ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Lions, ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Junior Mothers, ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Kiwanis, ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Rotary Knights of Columbus and Main Street ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ.
