This scholarship is funded by Intercontinental Hotels of Cleveland and is designated to be used toward tuition, fees, books and supplies, and travel associated with a university-sanctioned study abroad program for Hospitality and Event Management students.
This award was established in 1996 by Mrs. Frances Schwebel Solomon to support students in the hospitality food service management program. The scholarship is intended to encourage students who have demonstrated the capacity to achieve educational and professional goals, the motivation to achieve these goals and the initiative to seek opportunities to further their progress. One or two awards may be given annually.
This award was established to financially support members of the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ CMAA Student Chapter who are pursuing a bachelor's degree. One scholarship will be awarded to a qualified applicant each year depending on available funds.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Police investigated an unverified threat at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Hall that was received this morning. University police worked with federal and other law enforcement partners to assess the threat. Based on the investigation, police have determined that the threat is not credible. The threat is similar to those received recently at other schools and institutions.
