The Strength Laboratory is a multipurpose room aimed towards research projects utilizing resistance exercise, and graduate and undergraduate courses that are learning about resistance exercise.
The Motor Control Laboratory is interested in how aging and neurological disorders limit exercise and movement in humans.
We are also interested in how exercise can be used to promote neurorehabilitation. Our current research examines the benefits of exercise and movement training on motor function in individuals with Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis.
Community Engaged Learning is excited to recruit faculty/staff leaders for Alternative Spring Break trips! These trips expose students to social justice and cultural issues through direct service, community engagement, reflection and a variety of cultural activities. The experiences engage students in service, inform them about current social issues, and encourage their on-going involvement in social change. The trips are either one day long or multi-day experiences, falling between Mar. 23 and Mar. 29.
