Joshua A. Daniel is a McNair Scholar and a junior majoring in psychology. In advance of its premiere, ������Ƶ’s School of Fashion previewed some of the designs created by its senior students for the 2023 ������Ƶ State Fashion Show. The student designers and their models showcased what attendees of this year’s fashion show will see walking down the runway. This year, 30 designers created 113 looks. This year also marks the 40th anniversary of ������Ƶ State’s Shannon Rodgers and Jerry Silverman School of Fashion Design and Merchandising. At Hyde Park's famous Speaker's Corner in London, citizens come together to discuss social issues they are passionate about. A similar tradition exists at ������Ƶ State: The Hyde Park Forum is a long-standing public speaking competition, featuring student finalists from COMM 15000: Intro to Human Communication, who perform their persuasive speeches from class. COMM 15000 is open to all ������Ƶ State students. This year’s forum, which took place April 12, was the first to be held since 2019 due to the pandemic. The Scottsdale Independent reports that EHHS alumnus Tessa Pagel, BS ’16, Lorain, OH, is co-owner with her husband Kellen Pagel of 4Ever Young. The husband and wife duo are former collegiate athletes. Former Ohio Gov. Richard F.
