Richie Dell, a senior molecular biology major, has navigated the last three years as a ������Ƶ Honors College student as well as a pitcher for the ������Ƶ State Men’s Baseball team. Professor Gianna Commito has been awarded the Wayne P. Lawson Prize for Ohio Artists from The Columbus Museum of Art (CMA). She is known for her elaborate, intersecting paintings that utilize geometric shapes and an array of colors. The Wayne P. Lawson Prize recognizes an Ohio artist who represents excellence in their practice. Students, staff, faculty and administrators gathered Monday in ������Ƶ State's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Plus Center in the ������Ƶ Student Center as one university family in support of members of the LGBTQ+ community. The gathering was in response to a mass shooting that occurred late Saturday night at an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
