The United Nations describes International Day of Peace as a day devoted to strengthening the ideas of peace through observing 24 hours of nonviolence and cease-fire. For over 40 years on Sept. 21, the U.N. has established themes for nations to follow in order to cultivate a culture of peace. The 2022 theme for the International Day of Peace was 鈥淓nd racism. A variety of food trucks gather in front of the University Library on Wednesdays to supply students, faculty and staff passing by with a quick bite to eat. And the 蜜桃视频 State community is taking advantage of it. The Community Food Truck Series happens on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Risman Plaza, located in front of the 蜜桃视频 Student Center, through Oct. 12. This large and ancient, cutleaf beech tree, Fagus sylvatica 'Asplenifolia,' growing near the old carriage house by the 蜜桃视频 Women's Center, is older than 蜜桃视频 State. The tree has been dated to be at least 200 years old by a certified Ohio arborist, who is part of the 蜜桃视频 State Tree Advisory Board.
