2021 Glauser School Concerto Competition Winners Announced

On Saturday, Dec. 4 the 蜜桃视频 Orchestra hosted the final round of the Glauser School of Music Concerto Competition. An annual event, the competition is open to all undergraduate and graduate music students who won the preliminary round in their category. The winners will be featured on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022 during the KSU Orchestra concert at 3 p.m. that day.

The 蜜桃视频 alumni family grew by more than 2,400 new graduates as the university held its fall commencement. The accomplishments of the Fall Class of 2021 were recognized with in-person commencement ceremonies and a virtual commencement ceremony for all colleges and degrees on Dec. 17-18. All of the commencement ceremonies were livestreamed at www.kent.edu/commencement. In total, 2,430 degrees were conferred this fall, consisting of 573 associate degrees, 1,497 bachelor鈥檚 degrees, 314 master鈥檚 degrees, 44 doctoral degrees and two educational specialist degrees.Mor...

As Stitched: Regional Dress Across Europe nears the end of its run, join us on Thursday, Jan. 13 for a talk with Andreea T膬n膬sescu, President of La Blouse Roumaine a non-governmental organization that promotes the preservation of the Romanian textile heritage, cultural and sustainable fashion. T膬n膬sescu will discuss the global impacts of the Romanian Blouse throughout the past 100 years.
