������Ƶ has joined the Culture of Respect Collective, a two-year initiative offered through the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), to help end sexual violence on campus. Parents of college-aged students in 2013 created Culture of Respect. From April 5 to May 15, visitors to the ������Ƶ campus will encounter a new, outdoor public art exhibition that stretches along the Lefton Esplanade between downtown ������Ƶ and the University Library. “Import/Export” addresses the imbalances and inequalities of global import/export systems. Artists from around the world were chosen based on how their works reflect the impact of these systems on their local spaces. Employees from ������Ƶ’s Child Development Center are among a growing list of groups from the university who recently “flashed their arms” and got vaccinated against COVID-19. The list of students, faculty and staff who have received their COVID-19 vaccinations continues to grow as the state of Ohio continues to increase the number of Ohioans eligible for a vaccine. Congratulations to Cynthia Smith who was named the 2020 United States Air Force (USAF), enterprise wide, University Employee of the Year. She was named the 2014 Civilian Employee of the Year by USAF, making this the second time she has received national recognition at ������Ƶ for her knowledge base and exemplary work skills.
