Thomas Schroth Visiting Artist Series Presents Darnell-Jamal Lisby

The College of the Arts is proud to continue the acclaimed Thomas Schroth Visiting Artist Series with virtual presentations this spring dedicated to the College's commitment to celebrating diversity within the Arts.

The next guest speaker of this year's series is fashion historian and curator Darnell-Jamal Lisby.

Lisby will participate in a virtual discussion on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 5:30 鈥 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. Admission to the event is FREE, however reservations are required.

From April 5 to May 15, visitors to the 蜜桃视频 campus will encounter a new, outdoor public art exhibition that stretches along the Lefton Esplanade between downtown 蜜桃视频 and the University Library. 鈥淚mport/Export鈥 addresses the imbalances and inequalities of global import/export systems. Artists from around the world were chosen based on how their works reflect the impact of these systems on their local spaces. Employees from 蜜桃视频鈥檚 Child Development Center are among a growing list of groups from the university who recently 鈥渇lashed their arms鈥 and got vaccinated against COVID-19. The list of students, faculty and staff who have received their COVID-19 vaccinations continues to grow as the state of Ohio continues to increase the number of Ohioans eligible for a vaccine. Congratulations to Cynthia Smith who was named the 2020 United States Air Force (USAF), enterprise wide, University Employee of the Year. She was named the 2014 Civilian Employee of the Year by USAF, making this the second time she has received national recognition at 蜜桃视频 for her knowledge base and exemplary work skills.
