Ƶ Blossom Art Intensives: The First 10 Years

Since 1968, the School of Art has been conducting studio art intensives during the summers where visiting artists travel to Ƶ State to teach and mentor a select group of students. In this exhibition, artworks from the School of Art Collection created by visiting artists who participated during the first decade of the Ƶ Blossom Art program (1968-1977) will be on display.  Join us to celebrate 50 years of Ƶ Blossom Art Intensives!

Ƶ student Symone Baskerville is passionate about sustainability. A senior fashion design student, Ms. Baskerville’s love for sustainable fashion began after taking an environmental science course during her freshman year of high school. There she learned about Project Greenway, a green fashion runway competition. The Ƶ School of Communication Studies has named communication scholar Paul Leonardi, Ph.D., the L. Leroy Cowperthwaite Communication Lecturer. Ƶ State Tuscarawas sophomore and Golden Eagles wrestler, Zion Clark, is featured in an award-winning short documentary that will air on Netflix on August 10. The 20-year-old from Massillon was born without legs from a condition known as caudal regression syndrome and grew up in foster homes until he was adopted in his teens.
