3+3 Law Degree Pathway: Public Health
Spend three years completing your Public Health coursework at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State, then begin law school in your fourth year. Your first-year law credits also count toward your bachelor’s degree, allowing you to graduate with both a bachelor’s and law degree in just six years instead of seven. You’ll save a full year of time and tuition while preparing for a meaningful legal career.
Why Pair Public Health with Law
Healthcare and public health law involve complex regulations, ethical questions and issues of access. A background in public health provides a strong foundation in health systems, policy and population health and the skills to navigate legal challenges and advocate for public health policies.
Our courses in public health, health policy, and community health equip students for the rigors of law school and for careers in health law. Many graduates pursue legal pathways, using their dual expertise to make an impact in the healthcare field.
