ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State Receives Prestigious Military Friendly School Honor for 12th Consecutive Year
ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ is once again at the top tier when it comes to exhibiting leading practices and supporting post-military students, receiving the 2021-2022 Military Friendly® School designation for its ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Campus. This is the 12th year in a row that the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Campus has received the Military Friendly School honor.
Ashley White-Stumpf's Sacrifice Featured in National Museum of the U.S. Army
ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State alumna 1st Lt. Ashley White-Stump is featured along with other American heroes in the new National Museum of the United States Army, which just recently opened in Virginia.
ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State Honors Veterans With Annual Commemoration Event
ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ held its annual Veterans Day Commemoration on Thursday, Nov. 7, in the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Student Center Kiva. This year’s guest speaker was Lt. Col. Colleen VanNatta. A graduate of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State’s Air Force ROTC detachment, VanNatta served as a media escort for joint information bureaus in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, during Operation Desert Storm.
