ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Orchestra Celebrates Halloween with Family-Friendly Concert
Come dressed in your Halloween best for the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Orchestra’s Oct. 31, 3 p.m. concert. The members of the orchestra will be decked out in costume, performing spooky, family-friendly favorites. Candy will be handed out at the end of the performance to kick off ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ city’s official trick-or-treat that night.

In late Sept., several ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Glauser School Music Education faculty members presented their latest work during research poster sessions at the biennial Symposium of the Society for Music Teacher Education (SMTE). The 2021 symposium was held virtually.

Live concerts return to the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Glauser School’s 2021-2022 concert season. New this season: All concerts and recitals will be ticketed. Corresponding adjustments have been made to pricing, and new subscription packages have been created to keep concerts affordable and accessible.
Jasmine Hines to Join Glauser School Music Education Faculty Fall 2021
Beginning this fall, the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Glauser School of Music will welcome Jasmine Hines to the music education department as an assistant professor. Her appointment in the newly created position follows a rigorous national search with a specialty in choral music education.
