ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ has announced two substantial philanthropic gifts in support of the Global Education Endowment, which was established in 2022 in recognition of the 50th anniversary of ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ State’s education-abroad presence in Florence, Italy.

A year ago, Yeonmin Kim, Ph.D., ’13, a literature professor from Chonnam National University in Gwangju, South Korea, was concluding his time as a visiting professor at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ with one goal in mind: Create an exchange program between the two schools based on their historic campus tragedies.

Celebrating International Women’s Day

ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8 with a poster presentation to allow international students the chance to highlight women in their home countries and a service project to aid Days for Girls.

The poster presentation was followed by a panel discussion of students, faculty and staff talking about women’s issues and successes across their globe.
