For User Experience master's student Christina Turner, user experience starts with a person in front of a computer screen. "Everything's gotten so complicated online.... Everyone feels bad if they don't know how to do something on a computer. They really feel like they’ve dropped the ball. So I just do a lot more comforting people. Like, ‘you're not bad at this. This software is terrible. You're doing great.’â€
ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ receives an NSF grant for quantum computing training
Co-PIs Dr. Michael Strickland (Professor and Chair, Physics), Dr. Qiang Guan (Assistant Professor, Computer Science), and Dr. Barry Dunietz (Associate Professor, Chemistry) have received a $500k grant from the National Science Foundation to develop a quantum computing (QC) training program at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ.

Each year the American Library Association selects student chapters who exemplify values of excellence, service and compliance, and recently ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ State’s ALA Student Chapter was selected as the runner-up for the award.
