Fulbright Scholars at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ State for American Higher Education Immersion

For the past month, ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ has hosted 37 international graduate students as part of the Fulbright Pre-Academic Program, a monthlong immersion in American higher education and culture. The group, from 26 countries, arrived on the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Campus on July 21 and was scheduled to depart on Aug. 17 to begin their graduate programs at universities throughout the country.

A father and son, both ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ alumni, graduates of the professional pilot program in the College of Aeronautics and Engineering, recently achieved a remarkable milestone. Scott and Kyle Koeppl completed their first flight together as Southwest Airlines pilots.

Tatee Sakr's path to success in the fashion world started at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ. As a 19-year-old immigrant to the U.S., Sakr chose ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ because it was close to her new home in Cleveland and had a reputable fashion design program. Now an industry professional, she is giving back as a key faculty member.
