Pulitzer Prize-Winning Historian to Headline ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ State Presidential Speaker Series and Deliver May 4 Keynote

Presidential historian and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jon Meacham, whose knowledge of politics, history, religion and current affairs makes him one of America’s most prominent public intellectuals, will appear the evening of May 4 for ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµâ€™s Presidential Speaker Series. Meacham will bring his unique perspective and provide historical context to the issues and events impacting our daily lives when he speaks about civil discourse at the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Student Center Ballroom.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ will hold the 49th commemoration of the historic events of May 4, 1970, where protesting students, observers and soldiers gathered on that fateful day when the Ohio National Guard shot and killed four students and wounded nine others on the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Campus.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ held the 49th commemoration of the historic events of May 4, 1970. The annual commemoration marks the fateful day when the Ohio National Guard shot and killed four students and wounded nine others on the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Campus.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ State’s Event With Bob Woodward Moves to Larger Venue, More Tickets Available

Due to an overwhelming response for free tickets for the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Presidential Speaker Series featuring Bob Woodward on May 4, the university has moved the event to the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center).

On Saturday, May 4, legendary journalist Bob Woodward comes to ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ as part of the Presidential Speaker Series. He will speak at 7 p.m. in the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center).
