IN A FLASH: A Grand ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ State Welcome

The university welcomed ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ State's Class of 2024 in grand style at this year's convocation with inspirational speeches from university administrators,  rally towels, strobe lights, Golden Flash cheerleaders and the Marching Golden Flashes band.

Rally towels, strobe lights and the Marching Golden Flashes added to the celebration on Aug. 16, when ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ welcomed its Class of 2028 with a rocking pep rally at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center.

Fulbright Scholars assemble prosthetic hands as part of the Fulbright Pre-Academic Program at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ State.

Fulbright Scholars at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ State for American Higher Education Immersion

For the past month, ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ has hosted 37 international graduate students as part of the Fulbright Pre-Academic Program, a monthlong immersion in American higher education and culture. The group, from 26 countries, arrived on the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Campus on July 21 and was scheduled to depart on Aug. 17 to begin their graduate programs at universities throughout the country.

The FAFSA cycle for the 2024-25 school year is not over.
