IN A FLASH: Chasing Darwin

Education Abroad Galapagos Islands.

With faculty from ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State’s Department of Biological Sciences students traveled to the edge of the world this summer to hike on volcanoes, walk through lava tunnels, snorkel with sea lions, see exotic birds and stroll, somewhat slowly, with giant tortoises.

Destinations included Quito, San Cristobol Island, Santa Cruz and Isabela. While visiting the islands and their research centers, the students learned about evolution, biodiversity and conservation.
