UTC Teaching Awards
The University Teaching Council offers two opportunities to recognize the amazing instructors we have at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ:
Outstanding Teaching Award
The Outstanding Teaching Award (OTA) is the highest teaching award accorded to non tenure-track and part-time faculty at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ. The award recognizes three ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State faculty members annually and parallels the Distinguished Teaching Awards sponsored by the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Alumni Association.
Faculty & Instructor Recognition
Students are encouraged to nominate their instructors for an Instructor Recognition Award. These awards are an opportunity to highlight all ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State instructors who have been motivated, engaged, and inspired their students. Nominees will receive a certificate of recognition at the annual UTC Conference.
