Ƶ State to Honor Veterans on Nov. 9

Ƶ will hold its annual Veterans Day observance on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. on the Student Green at Risman Plaza.

The outdoor program, Honoring All Who Serve, will include a flag-raising ceremony conducted by a joint color guard from the university’s Army and Air Force ROTC programs, remarks from Ƶ State President Beverly Warren and guest speakers. Retired Petty Officer 1st Class Mark Gainer, who currently serves as president of the Ƶ State Veterans Club, will be the guest speaker.

All are invited to come and pay tribute to America’s veterans. A special invitation is extended to Ƶ State faculty, staff, students and community members who are veterans, active service members or who have family members in the military.

A reception in the Ƶ Student Center Kiva lobby will follow the brief program. In the event of inclement weather, the rain location will be the Ƶ Student Center Kiva.

2025 Annual Pay Increase Eligibility and Information for Non-Represented Staff

At Ƶ, our employees are our most valued resource. The Board of Trustees approved a 2% pay increase for all qualifying, non-represented staff (i.e., classified and unclassified employees).
