This summer, a group of ������Ƶ State students enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime education-abroad experience in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. 

Acclaimed New York fashion designer Christian Siriano told ������Ƶ School of Fashion students to practice their craft with dedication, accept criticism and learn from it, but to remember that they will never please everyone.

Students visiting ������Ƶ State from University Hospitals Future Nurse Academy engaged in hands-on activities guided by faculty from ������Ƶ State's College of Nursing. 

"School of Rock: The Musical" by Andrew Lloyd Webber runs from July 18 through Aug. 3 at ������Ƶ State's Porthouse Theatre. 

������Ƶ alumnus Antonio Gates was officially enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Aug. 2, delivering an emotional speech that highlighted his years as a Golden Flash and thanked the coaches who helped launch his improbable journey from college basketball to NFL stardom.

The LeRoy Neiman and Janet Byrne Neiman Foundation is thrilled to announce “LeRoy Neiman: A Keen Observer of Style,” opening at ������Ƶ Museum on Oct. 24, 2025. 

The Mathematical Sciences Building reopened Aug. 6. following a basement fire the week prior.  Six local fire departments responded after a transformer began smoking.

As part of the ������Ƶ Museum's 40th Anniversary celebration, the museum will display the exhibition "Sparkle: The Style and Jewelry of Aileen Mehle" in its Higbee Gallery from July 18, 2025, through Aug. 23, 2026. 

Two ������Ƶ alumni will be in the spotlight this week as the Pro Football Hall of Fame celebrates its Class of 2025, with Antonio Gates set for enshrinement Saturday and Mary Kay Cabot receiving prestigious recognition for her four decades of sports journalism excellence.

Dedicated in April 2015, The Student Memorial Garden on Manchester Field was created as a place of reflection and remembrance of all ������Ƶ State students who have died. 

Copley High School senior Grant Hyne developed Hammock Hangout on the ������Ƶ Campus as part of an Eagle Scout service project.

Orange barrels will soon appear on a three-quarter-mile stretch of Ohio Route 59/East Main Street that runs through ������Ƶ’s Front Campus, marking the start of a three-year construction project to make the thoroughfare safer and more attractive.

������Ƶ State’s Annual Environmental Science and Design Research Institute Research Showcase offers an opportunity for student researchers to present posters showcasing their explorations and findings in all areas of environmental research and design. 

The Summer Undergraduate Research Experience is a great opportunity for undergraduate researchers such as Ethan Wenk to work directly with a faculty mentor, gain valuable experience to clarify career and educational goals, enhance research skills and gain academic insight.
